Job Description

• Requires cardiovascular/open heart surgical experience.
• Works under general supervision of the OR Manager/Surgery Center Manager.
• Part of the OR Team collaborating with surgeons, registered nurses, anesthesiologists, certified nurse anesthetists, and ancillary support personnel.
• Primary function: Scrubbing for surgical cases.
• Additional duties: Handling instruments, supplies, medication, media, specimens, and instrument cases.

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)
