Job Description

• Circulate cases and assist with turnover cleaning
• Transport patients as needed
• Schedule cases
• Independently circulate in the following procedure types:

  • General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, Gynecology
• Equipment used: Meditech, PYXIS

Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience circulating cases in a hospital setting
• Ability to scrub cases preferred
• Licensure: BLS and State of Hawaii RN license required

Schedule & Shift Details

• Operating hours: Monday through Friday, 06:45 to 23:15
• Shifts may vary based on department needs
• Travelers scheduled for 40 hours per week, with possibility of 32 hours during holidays
• 24/7 on-call coverage; assigned call approximately 1-2 times per week plus up to 2 weekends per month
• Must live within a 30-minute radius of the hospital for call-back
• Orientation on day shift for up to 1 week (or as per manager discretion)
• Minimum of 39 shifts must be completed during the contract if requested time off is approved

Facility & Work Environment

• 6 OR suites plus 1 dedicated C-section suite
• 4 to 6 rooms running simultaneously daily
• Small but busy and efficient OR
• Scrubs provided
