Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Technologist

Location: Mayfield Heights, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday
• No call and no weekends

Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Siemens system experience required (Siemens Aera, Skyra, Sola)
• Procedures/Scans: Neuro, Body, MSK, Breast

Licensure & Certifications

• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA preferred)
• Must have or be willing to obtain Ohio state license
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications as applicable (AHA preferred)
• National certification verification prior to start and upon expiration
• State license verification (Ohio radiology license not required for MRI techs)

Compliance & Onboarding Requirements

• Two fingerprinting processes required:

  • One onsite at the facility immediately
  • One through the agency (FBI and BCI fingerprints) within 12 months of start
• Criminal background check (7-year FCRA compliant) required prior to start
• Employment application including 3 years prior work history with at least 2 years clinical practice in acute care setting
• Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references
• Unit-specific competency exam and skills checklist (updated annually)
• Transcript/Diploma required for all candidates
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required monthly
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement (updated annually)
• Facility-specific online training modules (4-5 hours) must be completed prior to start
• Photo for badge required (badge pickup on first day for X-Ray and MRI techs)

Health & Safety Requirements

• Pre-employment physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming ability to perform essential job functions
• Fit mask test within 12 months of start, updated annually (specific N95 masks required)
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 6 months of start; annual TB symptom assessment required
• TB questionnaire annually if history of positive TB
• Immunizations or titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel + Nicotine drug screen within 12 months of start, updated annually
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 31 – Mar 31)

Additional Notes

• Fingerprinting results must be completed immediately upon signing; MRI and X-Ray techs may start with fingerprint results pending
• Facility will conduct their own fingerprinting on the first day
• Training modules must be completed on a computer using Chrome browser; cannot be completed on a phone
• TB testing and flu vaccination requirements may be subject to annual renewal policies
