Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician (Travel)
Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Job Description
- Floating between units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of the original assignment may be required.
- Floating assignments depend on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity.
- Travelers will be notified before their scheduled shift if a float assignment is required.
Required Credentials & Certifications
Certifications
- BLS (Must be AHA certified)
- ACLS (Must be AHA certified)
- NIH Certification (Group A updated yearly, Group B-F every 2 years)
- Tdap (Valid for 10 years, no declinations accepted)
Licenses & Verifications
- Current license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start.
- Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
- License/Certificate verification within 30 days prior to start.
- Driver's License/State ID (must be current and match address requirements).
Personal Health History & Immunizations
- Ascension Color Vision test (completed prior to start, updated every 3 years)
- MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Influenza Vaccine: Required for flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31), exemptions accepted with mask requirement
- Positive PPD or IGRA with negative chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA within 90 days of start
- Varicella: Proof of two vaccines or immunity (no declinations accepted)
- Fit Test: Required annually, preferred prior to start
- Health Statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
Professional & Onboarding Requirements
- Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA topics; completed within a year, updated yearly)
- Ascension EKG Exam (passing score of at least 80%, two attempts allowed)
- Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation
- Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding (done onsite)
- Ascension Nova StatStrip (pre-hire modules for non-allied positions)
- Ascension Cerner Test-Out (training checklist and signed attestation)
- Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical, completed within one year of start, updated annually)
- Ascension Criminal Background Check (7-year search, updated annually)
- Ascension EPLS (within 90 days of start, rerun if break in service > 90 days)
- Ascension Education Verification (within 90 days of start, rerun if break in service > 90 days)
- Ascension Employment Verification (7 years, updated annually)
- Ascension Confirmation of Assignment (provided upon initial assignment and updates)
- Ascension Badge Photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background)
