Job Description

Urgent need for a replacement traveler to start in the Endoscopy department. Candidate must have a valid NCCT or NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification. Start dates available on 11/10 or 11/24.

Required Credentials & Compliance for Onboarding

Certifications & Licenses

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (NBSTSA or NCCT only)
• Professional license/certificate verification (Primary Source Verification required within 30 days of start)
• No MA Conditional Licenses accepted

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no religious exemptions)
• Documentation of MMR vaccination (two measles, two mumps, one rubella) or proof of immunity via blood test
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if >6 month break
• Physician Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Hepatitis B vaccine record or immunity proof strongly preferred (optional)
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred (optional)
• Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray documentation (optional)

Background & Professional Checks

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
• Social Security Number trace for past 7 years addresses/aliases
• National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Education verification of highest level achieved
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience (required for submission)
• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
• Skills checklist (required for submission)
• Candidate submission coversheet (required for submission)

Additional Requirements

• MGB Badge Photo: recent color photo (no selfies, no filters, plain background, no eyeglasses)
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (part of Fit Test Record)
• Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form upon acceptance and for extensions
