Description

Radiology Technician - Florence, South Carolina (LTA Contract)

Job Overview

  • Maintain a professional image and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
  • Properly position patients and perform all radiographic examinations.
  • Operate and be familiar with all radiographic equipment at any time.
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Responsible for patient care, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in continuing education and in-services to develop professionalism.
  • Comply with all facility policies to deliver high-quality service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Credentials and Certifications

  • BLS (AHA only)
  • ACLS (AHA only)
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification
  • SCRQSA certification
  • Valid Radiology Technician License/Certificate (Primary source verification, state-specific registry)
  • Driver's License/State ID (valid and up to date)
  • Social Security Card (copy required)

Required Health and Immunization Records

  • COVID-19 Vaccine (optional but recommended: fully vaccinated card)
  • MMR: Proof of 2 immunizations or titer with lab report (no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B: Proof of 3 vaccinations or titer with lab report (no declinations accepted)
  • Influenza Vaccine (required Sept-April; medical/religious exemptions considered case-by-case)
  • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot): 1st within 1 year, 2nd within 30 days of start; negative Q-Gold or Tspot within 90 days prior to start also accepted
  • Varicella: Proof of 2 immunizations or titer with lab report (no declinations accepted)
  • COVID Test (optional)
  • Annual Negative PPD, Annual TB Questionnaire, Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray (optional as applicable)

Background and Verification Requirements

  • Criminal Background Check (county, statewide, national, OIG, EPLS, OFAC, NSOP, SS Trace, education verification; within 60 days of start covering last 7 years, updated annually)
  • Employment Verification (last 5 years)
  • Drug Screen: 10 panel drug screening within 30 days of start (rapid drug screen not accepted)
  • Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist completed prior to start and updated annually
  • Confirmation of Assignment: Standard form required

Additional Notes

  • Resume or professional profile submission required.
  • References preferred but not mandatory.
  • Continuing education and compliance with all policies are expected throughout the assignment.
