Description

Travel OR Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Days (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM), Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday
Call Requirement: Yes, split among nurses for 24/7 unit coverage
Holidays: Required
Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years as an OR RN
Certifications:
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

Circulating nurse duties in the OR including:
- Ensuring patient safety
- Documentation
- Workflow coordination
- Sterile field support during surgical procedures

Additional Information

Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers; agencies must be registered with the state due to processing time
Option to work up to 48 hours per week
Maximum number of requested time off (RTO): 1 week
Scrubs are hospital laundered and provided
EMR system used: PICIS
