Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery Nurse within the last 6 months
• Must have postpartum couplet care experience

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  Certifications must not expire within 30 days of start date

Licensure Required

• New Jersey RN License or Compact RN License
  Pending licenses are not accepted

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule & Requirements

• Weekend shifts: Every other weekend
• Holiday shifts: Every other holiday
• Return to Office (RTO): No more than 3 days

Orientation & Onboarding

• Completion of full orientation is mandatory; failure to complete results in immediate termination
• Orientation includes:

  • Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream modules (must be completed by Monday start)
  • In-person classes typically Tuesday through Thursday at multiple locations (location details provided via HealthStream)
  • Unit-based orientation scheduled by manager
  • Badge ID appointment required during orientation (photo submissions not accepted; badge needed for clock-ins)

• Various health screenings and vaccinations including COVID-19, Influenza, Hepatitis B, MMR, TdaP, Varicella, and TB
• Competency Exam and Skills Check List
• Multiple regulatory and sanction screenings (e.g., FACIS 3M, NJ Debarment, National Sex Offender Registry, OFAC, OIG, SAM Sanction)
• Physical Exam
• References and Resume verification
