Physical Therapist Travel Position - Boothbay Harbor, Maine

Job Overview

• Specialty: Physical Therapy (PT)
• Setting: Outpatient 1:1 care in a Home and Outpatient Department (HOD) setting
• Location: Coastal Maine
• Employment Type: Travel contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour days (Day shift)
• Weekly Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours, up to 40 hours with overtime only after 40 hours worked

Facility & Unit Information

• Unit Type: Inpatient (INPT) Med Surge, ICU, OB, ASU, ED, SNF
• Number of Beds: 25-bed Critical Access hospital
• Patient Ratios: 8-10 patients per day
• Patient Types: Post-op hip and knee replacements, failure to thrive, generalized weakness
• Equipment: Standard inpatient equipment including lifts
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred, acute care experience required
• Float Requirements: May float to outpatient Miles campus and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) as needed, with collaboration
• Certifications: CPR required
• Education: Relevant education modules as per position requirements

Dress Code

• Scrubs suggested but not required; any color acceptable
• Unacceptable attire includes open-toed shoes, jeans, and strong scents

Additional Notes

• No weekend hours or call requirements specified
• Overtime pay only after 40 hours worked; no pay for voluntarily leaving early if under 36 hours
• Position typically has one opening available
