Physical Therapist (Inpatient/Outpatient) - Travel/Contract
Location: Glendive, Montana
Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital with 24-hour emergency care, full medical and surgical services, and an attached 71-bed skilled Extended Care facility
Level Trauma: Level IV
Total Staffed Beds: 25
Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP (minimum two weeks from offer for compliance)
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (0800-1700)
- Ratios: 1:6
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
- First-timers: Not accepted
- Weekend Requirement: None (M-F schedule)
- On-call: No
- Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
- Block Schedule: Yes, open to accommodating
- Locals Accepted: Yes, no radius restrictions
- License: Must have BLS and State License (Montana state license or Compact License accepted; no pending licenses)
- Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No RTO within first two weeks due to orientation; limit RTO to one week thereafter
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes
- 8 or 10-hour shifts: 40 hours guaranteed weekly
- 3 shifts of 12 hours: 36 hours guaranteed weekly
- 4 shifts of 12 hours: 48 hours guaranteed weekly
Contract Length
- Duration: 13 weeks
Certifications & Requirements
- Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- State License (Montana or Compact License)
- Additional Certifications (as applicable):
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- Tech Certification (National)
- Background Checks:
- 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
Health & Compliance Documents
- Government-issued photo ID required
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (various acceptable testing options)
- Immunizations or positive titers required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year of start
- Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (Oct 1 - March 31)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (dose 1, fully vaccinated, and booster accepted with exemptions)
- Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
