Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP (minimum two weeks from offer for compliance)
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (0800-1700)
• Ratios: 1:6
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
• First-timers: Not accepted
• Weekend Requirement: None (M-F schedule)
• On-call: No
• Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
• Block Schedule: Yes, open to accommodating
• Locals Accepted: Yes, no radius restrictions
• License: Must have BLS and State License (Montana state license or Compact License accepted; no pending licenses)
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No RTO within first two weeks due to orientation; limit RTO to one week thereafter
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

  • 8 or 10-hour shifts: 40 hours guaranteed weekly
  • 3 shifts of 12 hours: 36 hours guaranteed weekly
  • 4 shifts of 12 hours: 48 hours guaranteed weekly

• Duration: 13 weeks

Certifications & Requirements

• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • State License (Montana or Compact License)
• Additional Certifications (as applicable):

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
  • Tech Certification (National)
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
  • HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start

Health & Compliance Documents

• Government-issued photo ID required
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (various acceptable testing options)
• Immunizations or positive titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (Oct 1 - March 31)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (dose 1, fully vaccinated, and booster accepted with exemptions)
• Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
