Nursing Contract Opportunity - Bethel, Alaska

Position Summary

• Oversee the Employee Health Program, including:

  • Initial assessment
  • Employee immunization program
  • Workers compensation
• Support tasks include data collection, data maintenance, and statistical computation.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • Must have completed a nursing program from an NLN-approved institution.
  • BSN preferred; LPN minimum.
  • Experience may substitute for education at discretion.
• Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of nursing experience, preferably in adult care.
• Licensure:

  • Licensed as LPN or RN in good standing with the State of Alaska or another state if hired through Commissioned Corp or I.H.S. system.
• Certifications:

  • BLS certification required within one year of hire if not already possessed.
  • ACLS and Employee/Occupational Health certifications preferred.
• Skills:

  • Knowledge of TJC/OSHA regulations preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with office equipment (computer, telephone, fax, copier).

Additional Requirements

• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccinations required for all travelers.
