Travel RN Opportunity – ICU
Location: Ardmore, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: ICU
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Shift: Nights, 3x12 hour shifts
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
- Number of Openings: 2
- Call Requirements: Standby for low census, must be able to report within 1 hour
- Float Requirements: Must float to any area as needed
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from AHA only
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Preferred Certification:
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years ICU experience in an acute care hospital
- Prior travel experience not explicitly required
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Medical ICU
- Number of Beds: 13 ICU beds, 6 IMC beds
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 2:1 or 3:1 (estimates)
- Patient Population: Medical/Surgical ICU patients including cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, heart attacks, strokes, and exacerbations of comorbidities
- Equipment Used: Arctic Sun, Bear Hugger, Glidescope, Nicom, Ceribell, Lucas, SCDs
- EMR System: EPIC
