Travel RN Opportunity – ICU

Location: Ardmore, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: ICU
Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Nights, 3x12 hour shifts
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
Number of Openings: 2
Call Requirements: Standby for low census, must be able to report within 1 hour
Float Requirements: Must float to any area as needed

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from AHA only
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Preferred Certification:

NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2+ years ICU experience in an acute care hospital
Prior travel experience not explicitly required

Unit Information

Unit Type: Medical ICU
Number of Beds: 13 ICU beds, 6 IMC beds
Patient Ratios: Approximately 2:1 or 3:1 (estimates)
Patient Population: Medical/Surgical ICU patients including cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, heart attacks, strokes, and exacerbations of comorbidities
Equipment Used: Arctic Sun, Bear Hugger, Glidescope, Nicom, Ceribell, Lucas, SCDs
EMR System: EPIC
