Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room

Location: Oro Valley, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Provide care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery in the Emergency Department.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Required to float between departments and sister facilities, including Marana ED and other nearby medical centers.

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience.
Must hold an active Arizona RN license.
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Must be willing to float between departments and facilities.
Experience with Cerner electronic health record system is required.

Preferred Qualifications

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification.
NIH certification preferred.

Shift Details

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
36 hours guaranteed per week
Rotating weekends
