Description

Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST/ORT) - Travel Position

Location: Naples, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM with on-call responsibilities

Job Description

Prepare the operating room, including setting up the sterile field, surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions.
Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
Manage surgical equipment and maintain the sterile field and specimens.
Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained foreign objects.
Float between campuses as needed.

Requirements

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from a CAAHEP-accredited or programmatically-accredited surgical technology program.
National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Experience with robotics, neurology, and orthopedic surgeries preferred.
