Travel RN Opportunity – Rehabilitation Specialty

Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Facility Type: Rehabilitation Institute


Position Details

  • Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Specialty: Rehab (Neuro)
  • Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
  • Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Call: No call requirements
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

  • Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years
  • Location: Candidate must be at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify
  • Vaccination: Flu vaccination required
  • Float: Must be willing to float to other units within the facility

  • Department: Neuro (Spinal Floor / Brain Injury)
  • Beds: 28
  • Patient Ratios:
    • Day Shift: 1:6
    • Night Shift: 1:8
  • Equipment Used:
    • Tube feeding
    • Ventilator
    • Tracheostomy care
    • Alaris IV Pumps
    • Hoyer lifts
    • Kangaroo pumps
    • Negative pressure wound therapy
    • Suction
  • EMR Systems: Cerner and ITW

Skills & Experience

  • Must Have: Tracheostomy care and G-Tube management
  • Preferred: Medical-Surgical experience

Dress Code

  • Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue
  • Unacceptable Attire: Hoodies, t-shirts, sweatshirts, or anything outside the uniform
