Radiology / Cardiology Travel Contract Opportunity

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• No call hours
• No weekends or holidays

Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
• Experience with Siemens MRI scanners (Vida, Aera, Skyra, Avanto)
• Ability to perform routine Neuro, Body, and MSK exams (No cardiac exams)

Credentials & Licensure

• ARRT (MR) certification required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications as applicable (AHA only)
• Ohio radiology license not required for MRI techs

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

Background Checks

• Criminal background check (FCRA compliant 7-year search)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monthly checks
• Transcript/Diploma verification
• FBI and BCI fingerprinting within 12 months of start (agency and facility fingerprinting required)

Certifications

• National certification verification prior to start and upon expiration
• Annual competency exam specific to unit
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgment (updated annually)

Health & Immunization

• Pre-employment physical exam within 1 year
• Fit mask test within 12 months (annual update required)
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 6 months (annual TB questionnaire if history of positive)
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel + Nicotine drug screen within 12 months (annual update)
• Flu vaccine or medical/religious exemption during flu season (Oct 31 – Mar 31)

Facility Specific

• Completion of online training modules (4-5 hours, must be done on a computer using Chrome) prior to start
• Badge pickup on first day for MRI techs
• Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references required
• Employment application including 3 years prior work history with at least 2 years clinical practice in acute care and similar area
• Unit-specific skills checklist updated annually

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers accepted
• Fingerprinting code for MRI techs: 4723.09 (Nursing)
• Fingerprint results can be pending at start for MRI techs only
• Facility will conduct fingerprinting on first day in addition to agency fingerprinting
