Travel RN Opportunity - Pulmonary Telemetry Unit

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Unit Description

• 36-bed telemetry unit focused on diagnosing and treating patients with respiratory disorders
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
• Collaborative work environment with respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy
• Requires knowledge in general medicine and specialized respiratory skills
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals

Schedule & Hours

• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays as required

Requirements

Education & Licenses

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
• NURSYS verification required

Certifications

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience overall, but will consider 18 months under highest professional license
• At least 1 year experience in pulmonary/telemetry specialty (higher specialty experience requirement prevails)

Prior Travel Experience

• Not explicitly required
