Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room

Location: Gilbert, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Requirements

  • Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will NOT be considered (a copy of the license must be included in submission).
  • Minimum 24 months of current Emergency Room experience required.
  • Certifications must be from American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross, active at time of submission and included in submission.
  • No license hits allowed.
  • Flu vaccination required; declinations accepted with proper forms. Vaccination status must be noted in submission.
  • Return to Office (RTO) requests:
    • Not approved within the first week of assignment or during holidays.
    • Cannot exceed 7 days.
  • Travel experience preferred.
  • Must have an active Arizona nursing license at time of submission (verification must be less than 30 days old).
  • Must comply with Banner’s specific background and compliance requirements.

Submission Requirements

  • Fully completed Banner Cover Page.
  • Resume listing all facilities worked at, including facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units.
  • Skills checklist specific to nursing discipline (must be less than 1 year old).
  • Active certifications at time of submission.
  • Driver’s license copy included.

  • BLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC

Facility Overview

  • The facility offers 286 private rooms, 9 operating suites, and an Emergency Department with 43 private treatment rooms.
  • Focus on patient and employee safety with advanced medical technology and a healing environment.
  • Campus includes Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, providing comprehensive cancer care with expert teams.
  • Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start.
  • Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
  • Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.

  • Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date.
  • All shifts, departments, and locations the candidate is willing to work must be clearly listed in submission.
  • Candidates should be pre-closed and ready to accept the assignment.
  • Notify promptly if candidate withdraws or becomes unavailable.
