Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Position

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the hospital (local candidates not accepted).
• Patient ratio: 1:4-5.
• Must have experience with EPIC electronic medical records and be comfortable using it.
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited time off allowed between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 regardless of holidays worked.

Requirements

Experience

• At least 2 years of previous Stepdown nursing experience required.
• First-time travelers are accepted.

Certifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

Licenses

• Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission.
• Iowa RN license also required. If Iowa license is not active, proof of application for Iowa single state license or compact RN license must be provided.
• Compact license allowed.

Additional Information

• 16-hour notice before shift start (NBO).
• Holiday, call back, on-call, charge/precept, and overtime pay multipliers apply (details not included here).

This position is ideal for RNs with Stepdown experience who are comfortable with EPIC and looking for a temporary assignment in Illinois.
