Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP, with additional start dates on 12/15, 12/29, and 1/12
• Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts per week, weekend rotation
• Weekends: 2 shifts per month
• Call: None
• Holidays: None
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
• 1st Time Travelers: Not accepted
• Required Certifications: ARRT (M) and ARRT (R)
• State License: Must have Wisconsin license in hand
• EMR System: EPIC experience required

Required Background Checks

• 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Includes SS trace, county searches for last 7 years of locations lived/worked/schooled, nationwide search, and sex offender registry

Required Certifications

• ARRT (M) and (R) (mandatory)
• ACLS: ARC or AHA acceptable (not required for CNAs)
• BLS: ARC or AHA acceptable (not required for Medical Lab Technicians)
• PALS: ARC or AHA acceptable
• NRP: As required
• Tech Certification Verification: As applicable based on licensure
• NIH Stroke Certification: Required for ICU, IMC/IMCU, inpatient, Med Surg, Step Down RN positions; must be renewed annually

Competency Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Color Blind Testing (required for dialysis/kidney center roles)
• Competency Exam (as applicable to specialty)

Facility-Specific Documents

• Photo for badge (passport-style, shoulders up, no filters)
• Compliance checklist to be completed by agency representative
• Confidentiality statement to be signed prior to start
• Flu vaccine religious or medical exemption forms if applicable
• Dosimeter request form (required only for Imaging Department, not MRI Tech)

Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required annually for non-clinical)
• Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (no TSpot/PPD accepted); negative chest X-ray within 60 days if applicable
• Immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 14 days before start (instant acceptable)
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)

History and References

• Two professional references verified within 2 years of start
• For inpatient RNs (MS, MS/TELE, IMC, Stepdown, ICU): one reference must be from most recent acute care assignment with performance comments
• References must be completed prior to start or require facility VP approval (may delay clearance)
