Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Opportunity

Location: Omak, Washington

Daily Census: ~10 patients

Unit & Work Details

• Unit handles approximately 300 deliveries per year
• Two nurses per shift
• OB nurses also care for postpartum patients when no labor patients are present
• Staffing ratio typically 1:4, may increase to 1:5 during high admit/discharge days
• Shift schedule includes weekdays and some weekends
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 13 weeks)
• Possible extension available

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Registered Nurse
• Certifications: BCLS required
• Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted
• EMR System: Cerner
• Scrubs: Not provided, any color acceptable

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during work hours)
• E-Verify proof or Attestation
• Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
• Background Checks: 7-year criminal check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, State-specific searches (Washington WSP/WATCH)
• Education Verification (upon request)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC as required
• State License Verification and NURSYS verification (for RNs)
• Competency Exams and Medication/Pharmacology tests as applicable
• Photo for badge (clear headshot in scrubs, no hats or sunglasses)
• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam within last 12 months
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with exceptions for past positives)
  • Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • 9-panel drug screen within 1 year
  • Seasonal flu vaccination documentation (declinations accepted)
  • COVID-19 vaccination or medical/religious exemption (booster not required)
• References: 2 professional references within 2 years for travel nurses
• Performance evaluations if previously worked with the agency over 1 year
• Skills checklist updated annually
