Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Assignment in Iowa

Location: Marshalltown, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary (Travel)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room (ER) experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• All certifications must be active
• CPI or MOAB certification accepted; highly suggested to have active certification before starting, but non-certified clinicians may be hired if they obtain certification during onboarding

Required Certifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• MOAB (or CPI/MAB accepted)
• NIHSS
• PALS (AHA)
• TNCC

Documentation Required

• Work history/resume
• Skills checklist (completed within 1 year)
• License verification
• Copies of required certifications
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the last 2 years
• Proof of taxable address (one document required, e.g., driver’s license, utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)

Job Details

• Interdisciplinary team environment contributing professional nursing knowledge and skills
• Minimum 50-mile radius rule (no local hires)
• EMR system: EPIC
• Expected billable hours: 36-40 hours/week
• Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays: Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving
• Limit of 1 day off request between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked
