MRI Technologist - Travel Position

Location: Albany, New York

Job Description

• Perform technical imaging procedures under the direction of Medical Director, Section Head, manager, and Radiologist.
• Assist in clinical evaluation and patient care.
• Utilize specific imaging modality to create diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and provide a positive patient experience.
• Enforce radiation safety measures in compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations.
• Support teaching and continuous learning as imaging technology evolves.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Applied Science Degree required.
• Diploma in X-Ray or Vocational School Diploma from an approved professional imaging program required.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Maintain competent imaging skills in practicing modality.
• Comply with hospital, state, and accrediting agency policies and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate patient care.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration required upon hire.
• New York State registration or limited permit to practice required upon hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Shift

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (overnight shift)
