Physical Therapist - Outpatient (Contract)

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Job Description

  • Full-time outpatient physical therapist position at a healthcare facility in Glenwood Springs, CO.
  • Role involves evaluating patients and developing/implementing treatment plans for various diagnoses.
  • Focus on improving patient strength, range of motion (ROM), balance, safety, and function.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
  • Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts; weekdays vary and include some Saturdays.
  • Opportunity to enjoy 3 days off weekly for outdoor activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required.
  • Current Colorado PT licensure (DORA) or compact license for Colorado.
  • Minimum 2 years of PT experience; 3-5 years preferred.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
  • Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted) from October 1 through April 1 of the current flu season.

Additional Information

  • Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility (radius rule).
  • Housing opportunity available: newly remodeled furnished studio and small one-bedroom apartments near the hospital (availability based).
  • Housing includes Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry. No pets, no deposit required.

Note: Candidates must provide resume, skills sheet, BLS certification, Colorado PT license or compact, and proof of current flu vaccine.
