Job Opportunity: Therapy/Rehabilitation - Travel/Contract

Location: Conyers, Georgia
Setting: Outpatient Rehab Clinic (primary), may float to Inpatient Rehab
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Weekend: None
Call: None
Floating: Within facility and scope of practice, including Inpatient as needed
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Key Requirements

• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Georgia state license (must have in hand before start)
  • LSVT certification required
  • EPIC experience required

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • First-time travelers accepted

• Treatment Focus:

  • Dysphagia
  • Aphasia
  • Dysarthria
  • Cognition
  • Voice

• Orientation & Compliance:

  • Full compliance required to start on time
  • Orientation scheduled bi-weekly; delays in compliance may push start by 2 weeks
  • Number of Non-Billable Orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 12 weeks = 12 hours)

• Holiday Work Expectations:

  • If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, traveler expected to work it
  • If 2 major holidays fall, traveler expected to work both
  • If 3 major holidays fall, traveler expected to work 2 of them
  • Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Identification:

  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID (photo ID required)

• Background Checks:

  • Completed within 30 days prior to start
  • Includes criminal, sex offender, FACIS 3, education verification, and more
  • Cannot start with background pending

• Education Verification:

  • Verification of related degree required (can be pending at start with proof it is in process)
  • Official transcripts/diploma or verified tech cert/license acceptable if education cannot be verified

• Certifications:

  • ACLS (if applicable)
  • BLS (if applicable)
  • PALS, NRP, EFM as required by specialty
  • State License verification within 30 days prior to start (Georgia license required)
  • National tech cert verification if applicable

• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months
  • TB questionnaire updated annually
  • Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (cannot start with results pending)

• Competency Exams:

  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (for RNs and LVNs)
  • Color Blind Testing (all candidates)
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (if applicable)
  • Other competency exams as required by specialty

• Facility Specific:

  • Review and sign Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance policies prior to start

Additional Notes

• Locals accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Manager review of candidate profile within 48 hours after confirmation
• Maximum Return to Office (RTO) time: 7 days
• References: 2 clinical references required by agency (not client)
• Skills checklist and work history verification required (can be pending at start with proof)

This position offers a structured outpatient rehab environment with opportunities to float to inpatient rehab, focusing on a variety of therapy treatments. Full compliance with licensure, certifications, health screenings, and background checks is mandatory to ensure timely start and successful placement.
