Minimum Requirements

Education / Licensure / Certification

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required
• Current BLS/HCP, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• CPI (or equivalent) preferred
• Specialty certifications highly desired (e.g., PCCN, RN-BC)
• Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation
• All licenses and certifications must be valid throughout the contract duration

Professional Experience

• Minimum 2 years full-time RN experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Cardiac Care, or Cardiac Stepdown prior to travel assignments
• Previous Float Pool experience highly desired
• Experience in comparable medical centers (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center) highly preferred

Other Requirements

• Previous experience with this health system’s travelers highly preferred
• Travel RNs must float as needed to similar or lesser acuity areas (Telemetry, Med/Surg, ED holds, PACU holds, etc.)
• Compliance documentation must be completed and submitted at least 10 days prior to contract start date; failure to comply will delay start date without extending contract end date
• Requested Time Off (RTO) is not permitted during the initial contract period

Contract Length

• 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Additional Notes

• Hawaii residents are eligible but will not receive traveler rates
• All compliance documents (including current Nursys report, ACLS, BLS/BCLS) must be submitted 10 days before start date to avoid delays or cancellation
