Location: Augusta, Georgia

Job Requirements & Details
- Minimum Experience: 2 years (1st time travelers not accepted)
- Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) mandatory
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIH Stroke Certification, and others may be required depending on specialty (refer to clinical track guidelines)
- Preferred Experience:
- Vascular OR cases with Hybrid OR
- Endovascular experience, Vascular service line, EVAR
- Experience with CSI, Penumbra preferred
- Electronic Systems: Epic (preferred), Pyxis
- Scrub Color: OR scrubs provided by facility
- Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
- Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
- Floating: Rarely may float to Main OR
- Call Requirements: 4-5 calls per week with every other weekend on call
- Holiday Work: Expected to work major holidays during assignment (see below)
- Major Holidays Include:
- New Year’s Eve and Day
- Spring Break (no RTO)
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving/Black Friday
- Christmas Eve and Day
Compliance & Orientation
- Full compliance required to start on time
- Non-compliance results in a 2-week start delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
- Number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) hours depends on contract length (e.g., 14 weeks = 14 hours)
- Clinical screening required to determine fit before final manager approval
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Photo ID: Driver’s License or State ID required
- Background Check: Must be completed within 30 days prior to start, including criminal, sex offender, education verification, and more
- Education Verification: Required; can be pending at start with proof it is in process (due within 30 days post start)
- Licenses: State license verification required within 30 days prior to start (Georgia license mandatory for CRTs & RRTs)
- Certifications: Must be current and valid; expiring certifications like COC not accepted
- Health Documents:
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months
- TB questionnaire updated annually
- Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant acceptable under certain conditions)
- Competency Exams: Required for nursing and allied health staff (medication test, color blind test, dysrhythmia/EKG exam, etc.)
- Facility Policies: Candidates must review and sign Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance policies
Additional Notes
- References: 2 clinical references required by agency (not client)
- Skills checklist and work history verification required, can be pending at start with proof of processing
- Locals accepted at same rate
- Candidate must be fully compliant with all requirements prior to start to avoid delays
