Travel RN Opportunity - Maine
Location: Damariscotta, Maine
Specialty: RN - Step-Down Unit (SCU) / Intermediate Care (IMC)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Shift: 6 AM - 6 PM or 6 PM - 6 AM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend minimum (36 hours)
- Call Requirements: None during core hours
- Experience Required: Minimum 5 years
- Float Requirements: Occasional float to Medical-Surgical (MS) unit
Unit Information
- Unit Type: 8-bed Step-Down Unit (SCU) / Intermediate Care
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 4:1
- Patient Types: SCU, IMC, Medical-Surgical, Swing (rarely)
- Equipment Used: Ventilators, ceiling lifts, Plumb Pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, SCD boots
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience managing vasoactive drips
- Proficient with ventilators
