Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Opportunity

Location: Camden, Arkansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3x12s)
• Night shifts: 7 PM to 7 AM
• Every other week (EOW) schedule
• Holidays as needed

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - required
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - preferred
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - preferred
• Experience:

  • Emergency Department (ED) experience required
  • STEMI/Stroke facility experience required
  • Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Systems:

  • MedHost experience required

Patient Population & Unit Details

• Patient Diagnoses: CHF, Pneumonia, Psychiatric, UTI, Hypertension, DKA, CVA, MI
• Special Procedures/Unit: Trauma Communication, AR Saves program
• Equipment: Ranger Blood/Fluid Warmer, Bair Hugger, Blanket Warmer, Baxter Spectrum IV pumps
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during shifts)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check (all locations lived/worked in past 7 years)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and updated with contract renewals
  • HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and updated with contract renewals
  • State-specific criminal search (Arkansas) required for all travelers
• Highest level of educational diploma required
• State License primary source verification
• NURSYS verification (for all RNs)
• Clinical references (2 required)
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable unit
• Performance and internal evaluations if previously worked with the system

Health & Safety Requirements

• Initial physical exam and annual updates attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations or titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season; mask required if declined

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement required (HIPAA compliance)
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exams required as applicable
