Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist (Travel)

Location: Key West, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring various disease states.
Follow standardized procedures and prepare samples for testing.
Analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits.
Work involves limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Perform a variety of tasks with some creativity and latitude.
Typically reports to a manager or supervisor.

Requirements

Must have a Florida medical technologist license at the time of submission.
ASCP Generalist certification required.
Blood bank experience required.
BLS certification required.
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty.
AHCA certification required for Florida placements.
Must have secured housing at time of acceptance.

Schedule

Shift: Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Additional Notes

Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the medical technologist field is expected.
