Travel RN Opportunity – Adolescent Behavioral Health/Psych

Location: Louisville, Kentucky

Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every 3rd weekend

Patient Ratios: 2-3 RNs for 21 patients, supported by 2 Mental Health Technicians (MHTs) and 1 Patient Care (PC) staff
Type of Patients: Acute Psychiatric
EMR System: Cerner
Equipment: None specified

Requirements

Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience as an RN
Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
Preferred Skills: CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), experience with Cerner EMR
Personality Fit: Strong skills in de-escalation

Additional Information

The facility is a private, not-for-profit behavioral health hospital specializing in care for children, adolescents, and adults with complex behavioral health needs.
The unit focuses on acute psychiatric care for adolescents.
Dress Code: Galaxy Blue scrubs; black or galaxy blue bottoms are not acceptable.
