Job Description

  • Fast-paced ER RN position
  • Level 1 trauma experience is helpful

  • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start (with annual TB questionnaire if past positive)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Proof of immunity via titer or vaccination or declination as per facility policy
  • Hepatitis B: Proof of immunity or vaccination series or declination
  • Varicella: Proof of immunity or vaccination or declination
  • Drug Testing: 10 panel drug screen within 30 days of start, repeated annually (no rapid results)
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination proof required prior to start (per Illinois state policy, exemptions accepted)

Background and Documentation Requirements

  • 7-year Criminal Background Check within 30 days of start (including SSN trace, county searches, national criminal and sex offender checks)
  • Education Verification (Diploma or Transcript acceptable)
  • Emergency Contact Form required prior to start
  • Various facility-specific documents and acknowledgments required prior to start (e.g., Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, Safety Information, Parking Tag Request)
  • References: At least 2 recent professional references required
