Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Neuro Telemetry/Neuro Stepdown)

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Education & Licensure Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required
• Current BLS/HCP, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• CPI (or equivalent) preferred
• Specialty certifications highly desired (PCCN, RN-BC, SCRN, CNRN)
• Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation
• All licenses and certifications must be valid throughout the contract duration

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of full-time RN experience in Neuro Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, Neuro PCU, or Neuro Intermediate Care prior to any travel assignments
• Experience in comparable medical centers (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center) highly preferred
• Prior travel experience is required

Additional Information

• Travel RNs may be required to float to similar or lesser acuity areas such as Telemetry, Med/Surg, ED holds, PACU holds
• Compliance documentation must be completed and submitted at least 10 days before the contract start date; failure to do so will delay the start date without extending the contract end date
• Requested Time Off (RTO) is not permitted during the initial contract period
• Preference given to previous travelers within the health system

This position is ideal for experienced Neuro Telemetry nurses with prior travel experience looking for a contract role in Hawaii.
