Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU/LTAC
Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details

- Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend
- On-call Requirement: No
- Floating: Yes, may need to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units
- Block Scheduling: Open to accommodating
- Locals: Not accepted (50-mile radius rule)
- First-timers: Not accepted
- Pending License: Not accepted
- Return Staff Policy: Must be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler
- Contract Limit: Maximum of 2 contracts (can extend once), then must be gone for 6 months before returning
- Guaranteed Hours: Call-off policy allows 2 shifts off per 13-week assignment; after that, all contracted shifts are guaranteed

- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required for L&D, FCCU, NICU units
- NIH Stroke Certification – Must be updated annually
- Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing – Required for all ICU and related units
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) – Must pass with 80% or higher within 3 attempts; remediation required if failed
Competencies
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam – Required and must be renewed annually
- Advanced Dysrhythmia required for all RNs
- Must score at least 80% to pass; failure after 3 attempts results in cancellation
Experience Requirements

- TDAP (within last 10 years)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (titer or 2 vaccines)
- Hepatitis B (vaccine series, positive titer, or signed declination)
- Varicella (titer or 2 vaccines)
- Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days
- Flu vaccine required year-round; medical or religious exemptions accepted with facility approval
- COVID-19 vaccine not required but accepted if available
