Job Summary

• Perform patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director.
• Work according to the State of Maine Board of Nursing and facility policies.
• Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse provides direct supervision during shifts.

Requirements

Licensure & Certifications

• Current Maine RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• MOAB or CPI certifications preferred but not required.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience

• Telemetry experience preferred.
• No explicit minimum years of specialty experience stated; assume standard RN experience.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Skills

• Must be a team player.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Flexible hours.

Additional Information

• Up to 16 hours of orientation (unpaid).
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
• Travelers living within 50 miles of the facility will receive a lower local rate.

This position is suitable for RNs with telemetry experience looking for a 13-week travel contract in Maine. Prior travel experience is not required.
