Job Details

• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (preferred but not mandatory)
• Charting System: Epic (experience preferred)

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AWHONN Intermediate
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - as applicable
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - as applicable
• CHEMO (Chemotherapy) - as applicable
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - as applicable
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) - as applicable
• NIH Stroke Certification - as applicable
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) - as applicable

Required Documentation & Compliance

• I9 form
• Driver’s License/State ID
• E-Verify
• 7-year Background Check (including SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide, Sex Offender, Education Verification)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Fingerprinting (time sensitive for certain locations)
• Education Verification (highest level)
• NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
• Photo for badge
• Physical Exam within 12 months
• Fit Mask Test within 1 year (must be renewed annually)
• Immunizations and Health Requirements:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year
  • TB Questionnaire (if applicable)
  • Measles (Rubeola) - positive titer or 2 vaccines
  • Mumps - positive titer or 2 vaccines
  • Rubella - positive titer or 2 vaccines
  • Hepatitis B - positive titer, series, or declination
  • Varicella - positive titer, 2 vaccines, or documented history
  • Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved exemption (required during flu season)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)

• 7 Year Work History Verification (NJ state requires minimum 1 year prior verified with no gaps over 30 days)
• References: Internal only; not required for clearance

Notes

• Multi-facility Labor & Delivery experience or prior travel experience preferred but not required.
• Candidates must meet all certification, documentation, and health requirements prior to start.
• This is a travel contract position; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible.
