Description

Labor and Delivery RN Travel Position

Location: Cherokee, Iowa

Job Details

Specialty: Labor and Delivery
Shift: Night shifts, full-time (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
Schedule: Every third weekend rotation
Float: May float to MedSurg; potential cross-training to CCU and/or House Supervisor roles
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse Licensure in Iowa
Current BLS Certification
ACLS Certification (or ability to obtain)
PALS Certification (or ability to obtain)
Mandatory Reporter training (or ability to obtain)

Experience

Experienced OB RN preferred, or RN with strong desire to work in OB
Solid clinical skills and excellent customer service required
No explicit prior travel experience required

Additional Information

Work environment is a friendly, team-oriented rural hospital setting
Ability to float to MedSurg to guarantee hours
36 hours per week, primarily night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
