Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Job Description

• Must float within 5 hospitals within skillset (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL)
• Return to Office (RTO) required at time of submission; no RTO after submission accepted
• Block scheduling NOT allowed
• Required to pass Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing (only 2 attempts allowed; must be taken on a PC, not iOS devices)
• Navy Blue Scrubs required

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years CVICU experience (includes open heart recovery directly from the OR)
• Experience with balloon pumps, LVADs, Impella devices, and ECMO
• Prior travel experience is not required but first-time travelers are not preferred

Certifications & Skills

• ACLS (AHA or ARC only)
• BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• EOW (Every Other Weekend) / EOH (Every Other Holiday) availability required

Testing & Competencies

• Dysrhythmia competency test (pass/fail) required within 72 hours of contract signing
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Color Blind Testing within 1 year of start
• Other competency exams as applicable to specialty

Licensure & Verification

• State RN license verification required (primary source verification)
• NURSYS verification required for all RNs

Health & Background Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation (must be completed before first shift)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with specific requirements for positive responders)
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Required immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer or declination)
  • Varicella
• 10-panel drug screen without THC panel within 6 months of start, updated annually
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required by October 31 (with detailed documentation)
• Visual acuity exam (20/40 or better)
• Latex questionnaire

Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Government-issued photo ID
• E-Verify proof or attestation
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
• Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
• Facility-specific documents including badge photo
• Personal or auto insurance (if applicable for home health)
• Employment application and skills checklist (updated annually)
• Work history verification (minimum 1 year prior to start date, with limited gaps allowed)
• Two professional references within last 2 years

Additional Notes

• Candidates must complete all required documentation and testing by specified deadlines to avoid contract cancellation
• Dysrhythmia test must be taken on a PC, not on iOS devices
• Failure to pass required tests or complete required documentation will result in contract cancellation and possible denial of rehire within the hospital system
