Job Opportunity: Outpatient Physical Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Location: Abilene, Texas

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Immunizations or positive titers required for:
    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination accepted)
    • Varicella
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31), with religious or medical exemptions accepted
  • Fit mask (3M 1860 Regular or 1860S) required and must be updated annually
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen with THC within 10 business days prior to start (no exceptions)

Competency & Testing

  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
  • Color blindness testing (online Ishihara test accepted)
  • Pass/fail testing for telemetry nurses (if applicable)
  • Skills checklist required and updated annually

Facility-Specific Requirements

  • Completion and signing of various facility-specific acknowledgments and forms prior to start, including:
    • Vaccination Information Acknowledgment
    • TB and Occupational Exposure Acknowledgment
    • Patient Centered Pledge
    • Contract Employee Receipt and Acknowledgement
    • Computer Security Agreement
    • Corporate Compliance Acknowledgment
    • Confidentiality Statement
    • Employee Misconduct Registry Acknowledgment
