Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position
Location: Odessa, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Must be willing to float to other med/surg/tele units as assigned
- Facility will consider 48 hours per week or 36/48 alternating schedules
- Patient ratios up to 6:1
Experience Requirements
- Specialty: Registered Nurse

- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual update)
- Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing (required for RNs)
Background Checks & Compliance
- 7 Year Background Check required within 30 days of start; updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start (must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract)
- Fit Mask Test within 1 year; updated annually (N-95 or Halyard Orange Duckbill masks accepted; PAPR not accepted)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (PPD, QGold, or TSpot within 1 year; Chest X-Ray within 2 years for positive responders)
- Rubeola (Measles) immunity: Positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster if low/equivocal)
- Mumps immunity: Positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster if low/equivocal)
- Rubella immunity: Positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster if low/equivocal)
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series (3), or declination
- Varicella immunity: Positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster if low/equivocal)
- Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start; plan for completion within 72 hours of contract signing
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination or Declination (required during flu season Oct-April; mask required if declined until March 31)
