Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Opportunity

Location: Voorhees, New Jersey
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility & Unit Information

• Level III high risk facility
• May float to High Risk OB unit (16 rooms; cares for early inductions, antepartum, continuous monitoring)
• Possible floating to up to two nearby lower-volume hospitals (floating uncommon for L&D RNs)
• Floating assignments will be within RN scope of practice
• Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW) / Every Other Holiday (EOH)

Requirements

• Experience: 3 years (higher end of 2.5-3 years stated)
• Licensure: Active New Jersey RN license
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (AHA or ARC only)
  • BLS (AHA or ARC only)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Skills: EPIC experience required
• Must pass Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing contract (2 attempts allowed; must be taken on PC, not iOS devices)
• First-time travelers accepted
• Prior travel experience not required

Orientation & Compliance

• Return to Office (RTO) documentation required at time of submission; late submissions not accepted
• Scrubs provided by hospital
• Required documentation includes:

  • Proof of I9 or attestation
  • Government issued photo ID
  • Background checks (7-year criminal check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
  • State license verification and NURSYS verification
  • Physical exam within last 12 months
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
  • Drug screening (10 panel without THC within 6 months)
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption (deadline October 31)
  • Various health titers (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella)
  • Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation (required before first shift)
  • References: 2 professional references within last 2 years
  • Employment application and skills checklist (updated annually)
  • Work history verification (minimum 1 year prior to start date for NJ candidates)

Additional Notes

• Dysrhythmia test failure or failure to complete within timeframe results in contract cancellation and denial of rehire
• Floating assignments will be within scope of practice
• No local rate available for this position
