Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey

Job Details
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

- Screening/Diagnostic Mammograms
- Stereotactic Breast Biopsy
- DEXA Scans
- Special Equipment: HOLOGIC Mammography and DEXA Scan
- Charting System: Syngo Radiology Information System
- Scrub Color: Any color scrubs allowed
- First-time travelers accepted
Licensure & Certifications
- Required Licenses:
- New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License (pending license acceptable)
- ARRT Mammography Certification
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA Only; required for CCU (verify if other units require)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA Only; required for all units except MTs/MLTs
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA Only; required for Pediatrics-related units
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required for NICU, RRT-NICU, Nursery, L&D, Post Partum/Mother-baby
- Other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (e.g., EFM for Labor and Delivery)
- State License: Hard copy required; primary source verification required as applicable
- IV Certification: Required if previously worked in New Jersey hospitals; must provide proof or complete modules prior to assignment
Experience Requirements
- Specialty Experience: Minimum 1 year experience preferred in Radiology/Cardiology specialty
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted
Compliance & Background Checks
- Criminal background check covering all locations lived/worked in the last 7 years, including aliases and jurisdictions
- National Sex Offender Registry check
- SAM, OIG, and EPLS searches within 30 days of start
- Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within one year of start (marijuana not required) and on-site drug screen at assignment start
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam or fit-to-work statement from a physician (no annual update required)
- Tdap vaccine required
- Negative TB test (PPD, QGold, or Tspot) within 3 months of start; follow-up chest x-ray if positive
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): 2 vaccines or positive titer required
- Hepatitis B: Titer, series, or declination required
- Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required
- Hepatitis C: Negative or non-reactive antibody required
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually
Orientation & Training
- Mandatory hospital orientation required
- Completion of assigned online modules (~8 hours) prior to start
- Possible additional training during orientation (e.g., McKesson system training)
- Pass/fail competency exams may be required (medication, dysrhythmia/EKG, IV therapy) with limited attempts allowed
Documentation & Verification
- 3 professional references required (at least one supervisor-level)
- Employment application must show a minimum of 2 years acute care experience
- Work history verification required for at least 1 year prior to start date (New Jersey candidates)

Additional Notes
- Return-to-Office (RTO) required within 5-7 days maximum upon submission
- No weekend shifts or floating assignments
- Candidates must complete all compliance documentation by the document deadline to avoid cancellation
This position is ideal for Radiology/Cardiology technologists licensed in New Jersey who have experience with mammography and DEXA scans and are comfortable working day shifts without weekend or floating requirements. First-time travel healthcare workers are welcome to apply.
