Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Bristol, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 4x10 hour shifts, Days (7 AM - 5 PM)
• Call required: 12-14 shifts per 6 weeks
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• Required to float to a nearby facility when needed

Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Minimum 5 years of experience in specialty (highest required)
• RCIS certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Charge experience required
• No first-time travelers (prior travel experience required)
• Work setting experience required: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility

Certifications & Licenses

• RCIS
• BLS (AHA Instructor or Provider; RQI accepted)
• ACLS (AHA Instructor or Provider; RQI accepted)
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC)
• State license primary source verification required
• NURSYS verification required (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP)

Background & Compliance Checks

• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
• Education verification required
• Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry check if licensed/certified in TN or working in TN

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask testing completed onsite (previous fit tests from non-facility providers not accepted)
• Immunizations/vaccinations required or documentation of immunity:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (vaccine or declination)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) titers or vaccination documentation
  • Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination
  • Varicella titer or vaccination documentation
• Drug screening: Standard 9-panel drug screen within 14 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season

Additional Requirements

• Charge experience required
• Skills checklist required
• References: Preferably 3, minimum 2 accepted
• Must complete facility-specific documents including photo for badge, dress code review, and various health and safety acknowledgments
• Respirator medical evaluation questionnaire and clearance forms must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing

Notes

• Prior travel experience is required; no first-time travelers will be considered
• Floating to other facilities may be required
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify as travelers
