Required Certifications

• Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment preferred
• Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
• Experience with portable X-ray machines preferred

Background & Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, including FBI and BCI fingerprinting
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monitoring
• Education accreditation verification required
• Fingerprinting must be completed using specific Ohio codes and within 1 year of start
• Pending background check attestation required if fingerprint results are pending

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming good health and free of contagious disease
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine (adult dose after age 11/12)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• TB questionnaire required in lieu of annual TB test renewal
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): 2 vaccines or positive titer required
• Hepatitis B: Titer or 3-vaccine series (declination acceptable)
• Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required (medical exemption possible)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start (no pending tests allowed)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• COVID vaccination not required but strongly recommended

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references required (at least 1 from a manager or formal leadership)
• Employment application and skills checklist required
• Facility-specific policies including dress code, hand hygiene, ethics, and compliance must be reviewed and signed annually
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required annually

Summary

This is a travel contract position for an X-ray Tech with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology. Candidates must have BLS and ARRT certifications, EPIC charting experience, and familiarity with GE/Siemens equipment and PACS. The role requires working every third weekend with on-call duties. Comprehensive background checks, fingerprinting, health screenings, and immunizations are mandatory. Candidates must comply with facility-specific policies and complete required documentation prior to start.
