Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Contract

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Schedule:

  • Week 1: Tuesday to Friday
  • Week 2: Monday to Thursday
• Call Requirement: Every other weekend (10-11 call days per month) with a 4-day weekend every other week
• Floating: Required as needed within scope
• Locals Allowed: No (must be outside 100-mile radius)
• First Time Travelers: Accepted
• EMR System: Meditech

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty (Radiology / Cardiology)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense accepted; RQI BLS acceptable
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – as required
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – as required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – as required
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – as required

Licensure & Verification

• State License verification required (Primary Source Verification)
• NURSYS verification required for applicable nursing licenses (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
• Allied professionals must meet licensure requirements per Allied Licensure Report

Background & Compliance

• 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Must include all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• Social Security Trace, Counties, Nationwide, Sex Offender, Facis level 3 checks required
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Proof of I9 or attestation and E-Verify required
• Government issued photo ID must be carried during hours of service

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually
• Fit mask test completed on first day at facility
• Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) or clear chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations or titers required for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (October 31 deadline) or approved medical/religious exemption
• COVID-19 vaccination required (fully vaccinated prior to start) or approved medical/religious exemption

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completion of employment application/resume
• Skills checklist and performance evaluations as applicable
• Facility-specific orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required
• Medical and religious exemption forms for flu and COVID-19 reviewed by facility
