Preferred Qualifications

• Paragon EMR experience
• ACLS certification

Job Description

• Deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing standards
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients
• Plan and implement nursing care based on patient and family needs
• Make appropriate interventions and evaluate patient responses
• Direct, coordinate, and delegate activities to support patient/family-centered care
• Assume responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development
• Float to telemetry units including CSU, 3 South, 4 South, and Med Surg units (3 West, 4 West, and IPR)

Work Environment & Policies

• Strict 3-strike attendance policy: termination after 3 absences or being more than 20 minutes late without valid cause (e.g., communicable disease or hospitalization with evidence)
• Dress code: Matching scrubs
• EMR system: Paragon

• References are not required
• Skills checklist completed within one year is required for RN specialties
• Full-time employees of the facility are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment
