Description

Job Opportunity: Mammography Technologist (Travel/Contract)

Location: Amarillo, Texas
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Mammo Tech)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (08:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Required Certifications:
- ARRT (R)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
Prior Travel Experience: Not required
Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel on a mobile coach to off-site locations within a 50-mile radius

Diagnostic Mammograms
Fine Needle Aspiration
Needle Localizations
Screening Mammograms
Stereotactic Biopsy
Screening and Diagnostic Mammograms

Required Documentation & Compliance

I9 verification
Driver’s License or State ID
E-Verify
7-year Background Check (including SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide, Sex Offender, Education Verification)
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks upon hire
Education Verification (highest level)
Physical Exam within 12 months of start
Fit Mask Test within 1 year of start (annual renewal required)
Negative 2-Step TB test or equivalent within 1 year
TB Questionnaire (if applicable)
Immunizations/Vaccine Requirements:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (or declination)
- Varicella (or documented history)
- Seasonal Flu Vaccine or approved exemption (during flu season)
- COVID-19 Vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption
Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start; additional onsite drug screen during orientation (only one attempt allowed)

Competency Requirements

Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (minimum 80% score or meet Angoff score)
Color Blind Testing (online acceptable)

Annual Core Testing (for subcontractors)
