Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Greensburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Current Pennsylvania RN license required at time of start
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (preferably American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
• Experience:

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test (PPD, QuantiFERON Gold, or Tspot) within 1 year; if past positive, negative chest x-ray within 1 year and annual TB questionnaire
• Immunizations or titers within 10 years for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (vaccine series, positive titer, or signed declination)
• Negative 15-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or documented declination during flu season (Oct 1 – Apr 1)

  • Skin Integrity, Mobility, Catheter Training
  • Cardiac Procedure Education (for Telemetry units)
  • Competency Assessment form for Telemetry units (bring to orientation)
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification required for ER & Behavioral Health units

References & Skills

• 2 professional references required for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 3 years)
• Annual skills checklist required
