Description

Job Opportunity: MRI Tech (Travel)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description

Provide timely imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
Perform MRI imaging studies including soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast media.
Ability to adjust imaging parameters as needed for diagnostic quality.

Schedule

Tuesday to Thursday: 9 AM – 7 PM
Friday: 7 AM – 7 PM

Requirements

Specialty: MRI Technologist
Years of Experience: 2-3 years MRI Tech experience (higher value taken: 3 years)
Certifications:
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) registration required
Licensing: Must maintain a State License as a general radiographer
Location: Must live 50+ miles from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited AMA school
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
The role involves working in an outpatient diagnostic center setting.
