Pharmacist Travel Position - Joplin, Missouri

Job Requirements

Valid Pharmacist license in Missouri
Minimum 1 year of Pharmacist experience within the last year
Experience in an acute care setting
BLS certification

Job Description

Evaluate medication orders or prescriptions for clinical and operational issues
Participate in investigational protocols as needed
Prioritize daily activities and demonstrate fiscal responsibility in resource utilization
Support continuing education by presenting in-services and lectures to staff
Assist in developing and certifying competencies in department staff related to patient care roles
Participate in quality assurance activities, including documenting problems and recommending solutions
Monitor drug therapy through chart or patient profile reviews and intervene when appropriate
Coordinate efforts with department operational staff
Precept undergraduate B.S. and Pharm.D. students
